Mr. Albrecht accepts engagements to the exclusion of scheduling other work during the time period reserved. Accordingly, the following applies to all matters.

CANCELLATION POLICY: In the event of cancellation, we must receive email notice at least eight (8) full calendar days prior to the start time of the scheduled session or we will charge a cancellation fee of $1,500.00 and each party will be responsible for half of the cancellation fee regardless of who cancels it. All counsels need to be on the email notification to cancel or have a Notice of Cancellation attached to the email notification.

PAYMENT AND ADVANCE DEPOSIT POLICY

Payment of fees and expenses shall be paid at the conclusion of the Conference.

The attorneys representing parties in this matter or their law firms are responsible to ensure that the Mediator/Arbitrator is paid in a timely fashion, and if not, the attorney (or law firm, if the attorney practices in a firm) will be personally liable for said fees and costs, including any cancellation fees.

Pro se parties (those not represented by attorneys) must pay no later than the conclusion of the Conference. An advance deposit may be required to secure payment by pro se parties.

Invoices are typically emailed after the conclusion of the Conference. However, in cases where Albrecht Mediation Services, in our sole discretion, believes it to be necessary, an advance deposit may be required from a party or its counsel. Failure to pay any required advance deposit by the payment deadline will result in cancellation of the Conference.
